We were thrilled that Jacklyn & Chelsea at Salted Sisters loved our Spruce Hill Face Mask and our Walnut Hill Face Serum!
Let’s talk skin care… I’ll give you a little history on my skin too, in high school I had the worst skin. I was always so embarrassed because I had really bad acne…not just a zit here and there but, full blown acne. I tried so many things to get it under control and I won’t give you a list of what didn’t work because it would just be too long! What I found to have the biggest effect on my skin is eating a healthy diet and drinking water. Lots and lots of water! Water is so healing and I truly believe that is what has helped my skin be as smooth as it is today. I also think using high quality facial masks, serums and lotions are very important to maintaining your skin and in helping any anti aging wrinkles and what not. When I found this facial mask and oil serum from Franklin & Whitman, I was really excited to try it and I have to say I was really impressed with it! My skin was noticeably softer and my makeup went on really smoothly! Whenever I feel like my face needs a good scrubbing, which between the dry Utah weather and cheap makeup is fairly frequently, Haha! I also really think that having a good lotion or serum is truly what counts over a face wash because it stays on your face overnight and puts moisture back into your skin. So if you can’t afford a high quality face wash then just use something basic, I personally use baby wash on my day to day face washing and my Spruce Hill face Mask & Walnut Hill Face Serum in between! I think it’s pretty cool that all their products are all natural, plant based, paraben free, and cruelty free.
They also have a really cool mission as a company, called “Hairy Animals”. They donate 5% of each Franklin & Whitman sales to Dog Rescue organizations. They also pledge that every single ingredient they use is cruelty free. You can go to their website HERE and read more about their mission and organization of choice. You can even donate directly on their site!
