This week I received some great oils from a really cool company; Franklin and Whitman. My favourite thing about this great company is that they will donate 5% of the cost of your purchase to a dog rescue organization. I think this is a great idea, and we really need to be giving out money to companies who are not just in it for the profit, but who also want to better the community.
Here is a review of the scents I was able to try and my opinion;
This is what I call a “Buon Giorno!” (Good morning) scent. It’s very pleasant on the nose, not to strong, not faint either. It’s a very refreshing scent and that’s why I say it’s a good morning scent. It’s something I’ve enjoyed over the week using bright and early after a shower before my busy day, and it does something aromatically where you feel more awake when using this, and perhaps smelling the peppermint is the reason.
The first thing that comes to mind with this great scent in beard oil form is that the guys at Franklin and Whitman really know how to choose accurate names. I really like the hints of lavender and orange that take over, as they rightfully should. It’s not too powerful of a scent to make your ears ring all day however this subtle combination makes for a great scent to last you the day. A note to buyers who are weary of sandalwood scents in their oils, I personally am sensitive to the smell, however with this, the lavender and orange really combine with sandalwood to work together in this blend of aromas.
Mount airy was another enjoyable beard oil for me! It is mainly a lavender scent, leaving you smelling fresh and clean!
